Features, Aims & objectives of the Department:

• - The English Department is established in 1963. It has well-equipped Language Laboratory with Updated Orell Software and well trained qualified staff.
• - It aims at making the students proficient in Communication Skills and Soft Skills for all round development of their personalities.
• - It provides career and skill enhancement facilities (through expert lectures, training programs, camps, workshops and various activities like poster presentation, essay and poetry writing competition, etc.)
• - It tries to acquaint the students with social responsibilities (by organizing programs like tree plantation, workshop on cleanliness of environment, gender sensitization programs, etc.)
