STUDENT WELFARE FUND

Student welfare funds can help a variety of needs for economically weaker students, covering expenses such as uniforms, notebooks, practical record books, medical help, mess charges, and exam fees.

Types of Support -

Distribution of uniforms to students who cannot afford them.

Providing students with essential stationery, notebooks, and practical record books.

A dedicated fund to assist students with emergency medical needs or routine health check-ups.

Reducing the cost of meals in the college mess for eligible students.

Waiving examination fees for students who meet the financial criteria.

Reimbursing the exam fees after students have paid them, upon proof of financial need.

Process of Implementation:

Applications are submitted by the needy students to the Principal and they are forwarded to the Convener of student welfare committee of the college . These applications are put before the committee. Students are called for proper inspection about their financial condition and regularity in the college .The committee take decision for financial support ,medical help or any other help related to education purpose.

Workshops and info sessions are arranged to inform students about available support.

The faculty are encouraged faculty to contribute to the welfare fund. Support is taken from faculty, NGOs, alumni, and corporate sponsors to raise the funds.

Faculty members are informed and involved through meetings, newsletters, and recognition of their contributions.

Students are regularly informed about the availability of the fund through orientations, workshops, and digital platforms.

Regular reviews are taken to ensure the funds are used effectively and reach the intended beneficiaries.

Feedback system is implemented where students can report their experiences and suggest improvements. The impact assessment is taken to refine the program and expand support as needed.
