Grievances Redressal Mechanism Policy
The college has transparent grievance redressal policy to resolve the problems regarding admission, and prevention of unfair practices, etc.
- - The college has established Grievance and Redressal Cell as per the guidelines of UGC. It looks into the complaints lodged by any student.
- - The Grievance and Redressal cell is also empowered to resolve the matters of harassment.
- - Anyone with a genuine grievance can approach the cell members in person, or in consultation with the convener of the Grievance and Redressal Cell.
- - In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances can be dropped in writing at the complaint box kept in front of Principal's Cabin.
- - Grievances can also be sent through e-mail to the convener of Student's Grievance and Redressal Cell.

Objective
- - To support the Students to communicate their grievances freely and truthfully, without any fear of being victimized.
- - To inform all staffs to be kind to the Students and not behave in a malicious manner towards any of them for any reason.
- - Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution. Any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules should be urgently brought to the notice of the Principal.
Scope
- - The cell will deal with grievances and suggestions received in writing from the students about any of the following matters:-
- - Academic Matters: Transfer Certificates, related to timely issue of duplicate Mark-sheets, Conduct Certificates or other examination related matters.
- - Financial Matters: Related to dues and payments for various items from library, hostels etc.
- - Other Matters: Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation, preparation of food, availability of transport, victimization by teachers, etc.
Functions
- - The cases are attended punctually and promptly on the receipt of written grievances from the students.
- - Grievance and Redressal Cell officially reviews all the cases and acts accordingly as per the policy.
- - The Grievance and Redressal cell gives report to the authority about the cases attended and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
- - In addition to this college has been constituted Anti Ragging Committee, Women’s Grievances Committee as per the guidelines of UGC to resolve the related issues.
Women’s Grievances Committee
- - Women’s Grievances Committee has been constituted as per the guidelines of UGC to resolve the women’s issues.
- - Any student or staff can approach this committee by writing an application to get help.
- - Women’s Grievances Committee looks into the issues related to the sexual harassment of the girl-students and ladies staff.
- - It sends report to the authority about the cases attended and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.
Objectives
- - The committee encourages a healthy working environment for all our female staff, students and faculty members.
- - The committee works towards building a gender-sensitized and gender neutral environment at our institute and organizes workshops and awareness programmes for that.
- - It organizes programmes to empower girl students for their professional and career development.
